Privacy policy — Medication Reminder
Last updated: 6 October 2026
Medication Reminder ("the app") is made by KodeBy. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app.
Summary
The app does not collect, send or share any personal data. Everything you enter stays on your phone.
What the app stores
- The medications you enter: name, amount, unit, notes, times of day and weekdays.
- A record of each scheduled dose: whether it was taken, snoozed, missed or skipped, and when.
- A setting for whether you have dismissed the battery tip.
This information is stored only in the app's private storage on your device. The app has no internet permission and cannot send it anywhere. The developer never receives it.
Backups
If you have turned on Android backup for your Google account, Android may include the app's data in your device backup, as it does for other apps. That backup is handled by Google under your Google account settings and the Google Privacy Policy. You can turn backup off in your phone's settings.
Permissions
- Notifications — to show your medication reminders.
- Alarms & reminders — so reminders arrive at the exact time.
- Run at startup — to set your reminders again after the phone restarts.
Third parties
The app contains no ads, analytics, crash reporting or tracking, and no third-party services that receive your data.
Deleting your data
Deleting a medication removes it from the app's lists; its dose history stays until you uninstall the app. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in Android Settings, deletes all of its data from your device.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13.
Medical disclaimer
The app is a reminder aid and does not give medical advice. Always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new date.
